Bacchanal Jamaica, Hollywood style

On Thursday, January 29, 2009 Bacchanal Jamaica launched its 2009 season with an opening ceremony at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston, promising another exciting carnival experience.

Representatives from sponsoring companies such as Digicel, Supreme Ventures Limited, Pepsi Jamaica, Red Stripe, Fame FM, and Appleton Genesis all came out to share their reasons for being part of the three-month festive season.

Representatives from various media were also given a brief of what was to come as models from title sponsors Digicel and several other entities displayed some of the wonderfully designed costumes.

The opening night, which will be under the theme 'Lights, Camera, Action' will take place this Friday, February 6, 2009 as revellers will be treated to a Hollywood experience.

With a little something for everyone, Jamaicans are sure to be enticed to jump, wave, and get down this Bacchanal season. All the fun and excitement will be leading up to the much anticipated April 19 road march.
