BARBADIAN songstress Rihanna has copped yet another award – but she almost didn't get it.
The 20-year-old pop star took the International Song Of The Year for Disturbia at last weekend's NRJ Music Awards in France after it was presented earlier in the night to singer Kate Perry for her song, I Kissed A Girl.
But according to Agence France Presse, Diane Von Furstenberg, host of the NRJ Awards in the Riviera resort of Cannes, announced at the end of the show Saturday that there had been a mistake in vote-counting and that Perry was not the winner.
The award instead went to Rihanna.(RJ)
