Rihanna Leads iHeartRadio Music Awards + Recipient of the CFDA Fashion Icon Award

ihanna, along with Justin Timberlake and Imagine Dragons lead the nominations for the first annual iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Rihanna leads the pack with seven nods in five categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “The Monster” and “Stay,” Best Collaboration for “The Monster” and “Stay,” Hip Hop/R&B Song of the Year for “Pour It Up,” and Best Fan Army.

The first-ever iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, May 1st on NBC.

Rihanna To Receive The 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Icon Award.

In other related news Rihanna has been announced as the recipient of the 2014 Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Icon Award.

The council recently released a statement unveiling the honor: "We are proud to present Rihanna with the CFDA Fashion Icon Award for her impact on the industry as fashion’s most exciting ambassador in recent memory," said Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA. The annual award is presented to someone whose style has made an impact on pop culture globally.

The Bajan beauty, who is the current star of Balmain’s spring 2014 campaign, will be presented with the honor on June 2 at Lincoln Center in New York City.
