xtending the opportunity to the Caribbean to excel in the fashion world is always welcome. There are very talented designers who are over- looked needless to say striking exotic faces in the minority from the Caribbean breaking into the international fashion industry. 

The decision to scout models from Trinidad and Tobago specifically opened the eyes of the coordinator of The New York Fashion Gallery because the potential is being recognized. September 2014 show during the world renowned New York fashion Week will be grand. It will leave an everlasting impression by utilizing Caribbean diaspora designers simultaneously with T&T models. Especially following the current footsteps of Trinidad's fashion designer Anya Ayoung-Chee (Project Runway Winner 2012).

After years of New York being one of the fashion meccas of the world the world is seemingly looking to integrate hints of different cultures into their outlook to fashion. Therefore the world should see more of batik, tie dyes and resort collections which essentially are summer hot attention grabbers. New York get ready for the touch of what we call "melted pots" of Caribbean Spiced Fashion.
