The Top 10 Richest Caribbean Nations for 2013

To rank the wealth of the Countries of the Caribbean  CEM looked at the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at purchasing power parity per capita for each nation.
The GDP is calculated from the value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given year, then divided by the average (or mid-year) population for the same year. We used data provided by the International Monetary Fund
 


Number 1


Bahamas - 31,324: The Bahamas is also ranked 27 on the world’s richest country by GDP


Number 2


Barbados - 25,043: Ranked  40 on the world’s richest country by GDP




Number 3


Trinidad and Tobago - 19,826: Ranked  50 on the world’s richest country by GDP


Number 4


Antigua and Barbuda- 17,833:  Ranked  56 on the world’s richest country by GDP



Number 5


 

Saint Kitts and Nevis - 16,066:  Ranked  60 on the world’s richest country by GDP

Mexico - 15,363: Ranked  60 on the world’s richest country by GDP




Number 7  


Dominica - 13,994:  Ranked  70 on the world’s richest country by GDP



Number 8


Grenada - 13,549: Ranked  71 on the world’s richest country by GDP

Saint Lucia - 13,000 : Ranked  74 on the world’s richest country by GDP

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - 11,768 : Ranked  80 on the world’s richest country by GDP
