Lisa is a former Head Girl at The Queen’s High School and co-host
of the TVJ “Rappin”, host of the talk show “Our Voices” and guest
presenter on the US entertainment show, “Xtra”. At a young age she worked in conjunction with UNICEF to spearhead the Jamaican candlelight vigils to
launch the International Convention on the Rights of the Child.
At age 18 Hanna was crowned Miss Jamaica World 1993 and went on to win the Miss World title in South Africa. She became the third Jamaican
to win the Miss World title and is considered one of Jamaica’s most
beloved beauty queens.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of the West Indies
where she successfully
pursued a Bachelors and Masters
degree in Communications. As an undergraduate student she was voted by the
student body as the University’s External Affairs Chairperson for the Guild of
Students.
Hanna currently
serves as Member of Parliament for Southeast St. Ann and Minister of Youth and Culture. She is also a
dedicated mother to her son, Alexander.
