Haitian-Canadian singer Bérénice Dauphin was crowned the winner
of the first edition of the televised singing competition, Tremplin Phare,
in France.
This 31-year-old Dauphin beat four other
young women in the final of this competition,, thanks to the combined vote of
the public and four members judges.
