Writer : Caribbean E-Magazine on Thursday, April 18, 2013 | 9:39 AM

In 1989 Patrick Ewing began his own shoe company, Ewing Athletics and he later released the 33 HI brand, which remained a top seller for several years.

In 2012 EwingAthletics was re-launched and now the iconic 33 HI now presents itself in a new Jamaica and “Georgetown” colorway. Predominately covered in white leather, the “Jamaica” 33 HI features the iconic Black Green and Gold flag-inspired accent coloring to represent Patrick Ewing’s birthplace of Jamaica.  Also to honor Patrick Ewing’s collegiate life, the “Georgetown” 33Hi is draped in a navy and grey colorway with a white signature on the tongue logo.
