Grenadian Soca artist Brother B was recently nominated for a NAACP award, for his album ‘Carnival Fever’ which was nominated for ‘Outstanding World Music’ album.
The NAACP, honours outstanding people of Colour in the fields of Television, Music, Film and Literature.
"It is a great honour to be nominated at the 43rd NAACP Image Awards in Hollywood, USA. Coming from the wonderful Island of Grenada and creating music in the Soca arena, it is amazing that the music has reached so far and is accepted”, said Brother B
The ‘Carnival Fever’ album includes music produced by many Grenadian producers including Jimmi King at King Beats Studios and Doggy Productions.
The 43rd NAACP awards will be aired on NBC on Friday 17th February 2012.
