I agree with Anonymous! How can you say you are proud to be a Filipino in a Ms. CAYMAN contest??? That makes no sense to me!!!

You need to be proud to be a Caymanian and represent us or get out of the competition. You are confusing us and you would look really stupid if you won and then went on to represent Cayman at a World event and said you are proud to be a Pill-i-pino....or is it flip flop?

cocJust heard Jessica Ebanks on DayBreak Cayman 27.

Congratulation Jessica, You speak very well, you are beautiful, elegant and very intelligent.

To me you are the Miss Cayman Islands 2011.

You Cayman people need to realize that when sending a REPRESENTATIVE to International competitions like Miss Universe, Miss World....ETC

The crown Holder, not ONLY needs to have all those attributions she also NEEDS TO BE TALL, to meet the standards of High level events like those.

Jessica Ebanks HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO REPRESENT CAYMAN ISLANDS, overseas.

My PREDICTIONS ARE:

Jessica Ebanks: Miss CI 2011
Japal: 1st runner up
Mutto: 2 runner up

Good luck Jessica!!!

Wendy let's hope your prediction is wrong and that you are not a judge. I have never read such a poorly written comment and I have been reading blogs for some time. Let's hope you are a cleaner and not a teacher in the Cayman Islands. As an outside looking in let's first be honest and realize that Miss Cayman Islands 2011 is not going to win Miss World or Miss Universe. I work in the London Fashion Industry so my opinion is pretty much spot on, and more credible than all of these people who have posted comments on here. Being TALL is way down on the list of attributes that is required for any young lady to compete on the global stage. Inner beauty, Intelligence, and most importantly an identity for the country for which they will be representing are the most important criteria. Now I am not going to make any remarks about who looks Caymanian and who doesn't as you can all figure that out for yourselves and hopefully the judges will pick the most intelligent, beautiful lady who symbolizes the Cayman Islands as their representative and not someone who is TALL. Miss Cayman 2010 was TALL, how did she do in Miss Universe? I didn't want to come on here and belittle anyone but I will be involved in Miss World that is taking place in London so I do have a vested interest in who wins and from reading most of the comments posted on here I hope that all the smart women are in the pageant. Wendy please go back to school.

Honestly... This paper caymanian foolishness has to stop. Life is too short...in the rest of the free world people can become citizens of actual countries that are not territories and still celebrate their heritage also. Cayman is a multicultural society and it's time to embrace it. This is a beauty contest---women hold your heads high, be true to yourselves and shine some positive light on the darkness that is surrounding Cayman right now.

Lindsay is not short. Shes beautiful. I do also believe that the winner should REPRESENT Cayman & by representing, that obviously has to do with how they look. May the best girl win.

GO Chrystal & Lindsay!! :)

I think Samantha Widmer is the most beautiful contestant with intelligence and maturity and education to back her up. she was born in Cayman and is definitely a Caymanian. Go Sam!

I happy to say that age is nothing but a number and yes some of you may be educated but many of you dont have thing called common sense much less capital. Miss cayman will never in this life bring home the crown from miss world or miss universe because we are never represented properly or supported how we should. So i say out with old and in with the new and the young and ambitious. SO LETS GO HETTIE ANN DUNBAR!

Anonymous talk is cheap anyway. Good luck to all the girls, putting yourself in the spotlight takes courage and no matter what there will always be haters, that is just life. I'm sure all of these ladies will go on to better themselves after thier experience with Miss Cayman Islands 2011. It's clear to see who has the popular vote. Go Team Alyssa, much love coming all the way from England

Burrowes and Japal are old friends... and the other lady was a school mate of Japal's.

Janelle Muttoo, 1st runner up, and Crystal Tomlinson, 2nd runner up... were not born in Cayman, but are considered Caymanian. So why are you hating on Jera when she is one beautiful, kind, Caymanian woman.
