Buju Banton, set to be released January 2019

Mark Anthony Myrie, aka Buju Banton, will be released from Federal Prison on January 2, 2019. this according to the BOG website.

Buju, who was convicted in February on 3 counts of drug related charges, where he was sentenced to 10 years. 

However, since he has been imprisoned since December 2009, he will now officially serve 8 years. Many were hoping or Speculating that he would have served 6 years after time already spent in jail and good behavior.
