Miss Virgin Islands Pageant 2011 beauty to be crown

The Miss Virgin Islands Scholarship Organization presents its 8th annual Miss Virgin Islands Scholarship Pageant, themed  "Dance for a Healthy Lifestyle", to be held tomorrow, Saturday July 23 at the  Reichhold Center for the Arts.

 

The competion which is being sponsored by International Capital & Management Company will be hosted Miss America 2004, Ericka Dunlap. Dennis Harris of the Miss Arkansas Pageant Organization will be back again to head up choreography and production.

 

Four beautiful will be ladies vying for the titl, to represent Virgin Islands in the  Miss America 2012 Pageant in Las Vegas,  on January,14, 2012, at the Planet Hollywood Theatre.

 

 

Meet the contestants

Camila Daniels, is an 18-year-old junior at Barnard College, Columbia University, whose talent is playing the flute.

 

 

 

 

23-year-old  Jamie Gaston, is a  senior at the UVI St. Croix campus. For her talent piece she will doing a jazz dance.

 

 

 

 

Yaira Bermudez, 21-year-old, is a senior at Johnson and Wales University and her  talent is ballet en pointe.

 

 

 

 

23 year-old Taiesa Lashley will be a graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University.  She will be doing a vocal piece for her talent..
