Yesterday the Mavado and members of his entourage were named person of interest after reports were made to the police by a man and his teenage, where it was alleged they were physically assaulted. During the incident the man's car was also damaged along Belmont Road in St James.
It was also reported that someone from the deejay entourage tried to bribe the victim with JA$500,000 to drop the charges, and was later held by the police
Mavado turned himself in to the police and is schedule to appear in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on August 8.
