Joy-Ann Biscette is the new Miss St. Lucia Universe 2011

A few weeks ago  25 year old  Joy-Ann Biscette was crowned Miss St. Lucia Universe 2011 at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort in Gros Islet.   Joy-Ann will represent Saint Lucia in Miss Universe 2011, to be held in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.

Joy-Ann, a former Miss World contestant, and also a first runner up in Miss Jamzone 2010, obtained an  Associate degree holder from Arthur Lewis Community College. Aside from being in the Miss world anf Miss Jamzone, she can be called a pageantry girl, as she entered her first comeption in 2005 , where  she was the winner of National Carnival Queen pageant.

Joy-Ann also  represenedt the island in St Vincent at Miss Carival in 2006, Miss London Elite in 2007, She has also done several fashion and modeling engagements and was the face on the popular Piton calendar back in 2007.


Patrice Lionel was the first runner-up and Katrina Scheper was the second runner-up
