Miss Turks and Caicos Universe 2011

The Miss Turks and Caicos pageant will take place  on July 29 at the Provo Day Festival. Eight to 10 young ladies  are expected to compete for the coveted crown to present TCI at the 60th Miss Universe extravaganza in Sao Paolo, Brazil, on September 12.

The pagent which was last held in 2009, when title holder Jewel Selver  was forced to drop out of the Miss Universe contest in the Bahamas that August, suffering from dehydration.

Provo Day which started beauty pageant in the early 1970s , over the years have now blossomed include a voluminous float parade, fashion show, boat races and live music.
