International Soca Awards heads to the Turks and Caicos

The annual International Soca Awards is heading to Turks and Caicos Islands. After six successful years in New York 2003, one year in Trinidad in 2005, and a year in St. Kitts the 2009 staging according to the organizers, promises to be the biggest yet. The ceremony’s perspective is to showcase Soca music in its most ostentatious yet elegant and classy form, creating notice and appreciation along the way.

The red carpet event will be held on Friday October 30 and will see calypso and soca stars rubbing shoulders with international acts.
