The Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival (www.airjamaicajazzandblues.com) is the place to be from Jan. 24 to 26.
Taking place at the Rose Hall Resort and Country Club in Montego Bay, it's the island's premiere entertainment event with up to 40,000 people attending.
Headliners include Diana Ross, Jill Scott, Taj Mahal, Chalice, Anita Baker, Billy Ocean, Hugh Masekela, Beres Hammond, Marjorie Whylie, Ryan Shaw and Yerba Buena.
This year, a series of auditions will be held to pick up to 10 bands to share the stage with the headliners.
There will also be workshops where you can rub shoulders with the performers and learn from their experiences.
Tickets cost $75 US for Thursday and Friday performances and $80 for Saturday. A three-day pass is $225 and a two-day weekend pass is $150.
