Gay's agent, Mark Wetmore, confirmed that Gay will be there, and race director Wilfried Meert said Bolt has also agreed.
First, though, the sprint adversaries will race in Berlin at the world championships beginning next week. Gay enters as the defending champion in the 100 and 200, while Bolt holds both world records after his scintillating performance in Beijing last summer.
Gay has been hampered by a sore groin that's curtailed his training.
He said during a teleconference Wednesday that it's getting better and he's "been able to have a few good practices this week."
