Dancehall's first lady, D'Angel, got a sterling introduction to a large audience at a show in Ocho Rios on Christmas Eve when her husband, Beenie Man called her out.
"Can I call up my wife?" Beenie asked to loud screams from the audience.
When she hit the stage, Beenie Man, ever the showman, then announced: 'yea, man, see the artiste yu a wait pon here'. The crowd almost lost its mind. The two then did 'One Man', before D'Angel took over and went into her set, delivering the chart-burners, Blaze, Baby Father and Downtown Girl. She paused to introduce the popular Caan Stall before closing with panache with her most recent number one, Stronger.
After the show, she signed numerous autographs and spent time chatting with her fans. D'Angel is the spokesperson for G Force's current promotional 'Urge to Merge' campaign and sales have reportedly tripled since the announcement that she would spearhead the new campaign.
